Series of impressions i made in New York in October 2011.

Rocks, dust, heat. Tino shot the american mountainbike legend Dave Wiens and the US Topeak-Ergon Racingteam for Ergon Bike Ergonomics in the impressive scenery of Arizona. Dave Wiens is an exceptional talent. For more than 20 years he is actively pro-racing, a team-manager and scene-connoisseur. The two-time US National Mountainbike Champion and multiple worldcup winner Wiens has been introduced to the “Mountain Bike Hall of Fame“ in 2002.

Since 2001 Foto Union is working with their hearts and brains right in the middle of Berlin. They represent nine Photographers in all of the important fields of photography and four filmmakers for digital films and viral spots.

Several portraits for the german manufacture of entertainment electronic high-end cables. This year, Clicktronic is completely reinventing itself! After the founding in 2002, the company have taken a decisive step forward in theirs success story. From this point on, Clicktronic is being presented as an entirely new entity. With a new logo, absolutely clear colors, a distinct product design a unique packaging concept and photo language.

Since 1911 the riders tortured over the legendary mountains of the Alpes. We attended this year the Tour de France through the alpes for german bike manufacturer Canyon Bicycles and for my long-term project - the Tour de France. 31 riders was discontinued after the first two weeks of pain and chrases - they couldn`t finish in Paris. My compassion are by the injured and discontinued riders.

Together with DDB Tribal Berlin we produced the Vattenfall City Night Run campaign comprising two city light poster (clp9)  and two motion billboards. Once again, a thousand runners take part in this year's event and will test their limits on the Kurfürstendamm.

Cadel Evans finished the crucial time trail in Grenoble as second at this year`s Tour de France - what made him the winner of the yellow jersey 2011. Congratulations Cadel!

Mike Krüger and several genuine German handymen were shot for the new campaign by Scholz & Friends Berlin. For this campaign Mercedes Benz is celebrating the "men of action" in German businesses through music. The famous German musician and actor Mike Krüger has composed individual songs for the winners of the competition currently featured on  www.macher-album.de.

With this award, issued by the Art Directors Club for Germany (ADC), the campaign received the most prestigious prize of the German creative industry. The campaign was recognised in ten ADC categories, with one award in gold (dialogue), four in silver, two in bronze as well as three additional awards.

The portrait album 02 of contemporary portrait photography is now available in German book stores and on www.seltmannundsöhne.de. The book shows 136 of the best German and international portrait-photographers and their best works on 360 pages. You find inside some highlights of tinos work too.

For gas provider GASAG, Tino shot the German ice hockey star and four-times German champion in freezing Berlin. Sven has played in more than 800 games of the German ice hockey league, has taken part in the Olympic Games of 2006 and 2010, and was on the ice for ten world championships. For a GASAG image campaign Sven, who plays for Eisbären Berlin, was photographed with the mascot of the Eisbären - the polar bear, which is a CGI of Recom.

Europe's most talented young cyclists aged 15 to 16 are supported by the Germany high-end cycle maker Canyon. During the kick-off meeting at Canyon Headquarters in Koblenz, Tino shot portraits of the three girls and 12 boys who are of seven different nationalities. The relaunched site www.t-pohlmann.de includes a news blog, which integrates video and film, as well as a completely reworked content management system. The 'book' area is equipped with a shopping option. An additional feature is the new lightbox which includes a pdf-download option for favourite images. The site is iPhone and iPad compatible. The relaunch was designed and developed by central media berlin and guppyclub berlin.

For all cycling addicts: This time we staged the 2011 canyon roadbikes in Belgium. Hot spots included the Mur de Huy and the Côte de la Redoute, as well as the Zolder race circuit. Our most famous model was once again Erik Zabel who often made us hold our breath during his special cycling manoeuvre. The catalogue is out since January 2011.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Saturn, the retailer launched a new marketing compaign in January, 2011.  The new face of the brand is now the US entertainer Michael Buffer always smartly dressed in black tie. He is the world-famous boxing ring announcer who has achieved cult status with the slogan "Let's get ready to rumble". Tino shot Buffer in Los Angeles as he did in the past with Alice Cooper and Bill Kaulitz.

Spontaneous impressions captured at the decisive moment. fragments of my journey to New York. pictures shot mostly while meandering around the streets. and so I felt between the lines in this contradictory, beautiful city.
