Lotto Belgium - Exhibition on Centrum Ronde van Vlaanderen
The Lotto cycling team just ended its 25th season in a row. This event should not go by uncelebrated. In fact, not many sponsors survive that long in the cycling world. In addition, the Lotto cycling team became an important player in the international elite peloton. Two of the team’s cyclist provided the icing on the cake for Lotto. Cadel Evans won the world title and Philippe Gilbert obtained several victories.
'With doping - everything is in vain' - campaign
The initiative 'Sportstandort Deutschland' (Germany as a location for sport) joined up with the National Anti-Doping Agency to start a prevention campaign to fight doping in German sport. It is the aim of Scholz & Friends Berlin to raise awareness not only among professional and emerging athletes but also the entire population regarding the negative consequences of doping.
‘Where Champions meet Talents Award‘ in Silver
On 10th March the jurors - Eva Maria Möhwald-Hufnagel (Designer), Christian Brändle (Curator, Museum of Design Zurich) and Walter Keller (Co-founder of Museum Winterthur, Swizerland, Author and gallery owner) announced the first ever winners of the 'Where Champions meet Talents Award'. Tino received the silver award for his piece, 'The Header', with the ceremony being part of the gala dinner for BNP Paribas Zurich Open in Zurich.
"On the Move" Exhibition with Michel Comte
The theme of the BNP Paribas Zurich Open "Where Champions meet Talents" is continued in the photography exhibition "On the Move". On display are 18 never shown portraits by Michael Comte, with 14 photos by mostly young top photographers who took part in the photo competition "Sports and Movement". The exciting dialogue between the portraits of the international sportspersons and the works by upcoming talents from Germany and Switzerland has turned into an extraordinary visual pleasure that one shouldn't miss.
